So good to be back at Eatrip, the hidden garden of eating in the heart of Harajuku. The first time we'd been there since they started serving lunch (Saturday and Sunday only).
That beautiful approach…
The seasonal starter plate: black bean hummus; liver pâté; summer vegetables with pistachio nut dressing; marinated squid with cucumber…
As a main: meatballs of minced lamb with avocado dip, with homemade tortillas…
And a very tasty bottle to go with it: a limited edition red ("noir") from Scribe…
This lunch was actually a month or so ago, and as of that time, their stocks of Scribe were seriously limited. But it looks like they've got a fresh delivery in. On Sunday 7th September, Eatrip will be holding a speial Scribe pop-up wine bar event (instead of lunch). More info here…
A great chance to sample five different wines from this excellent natural winery, in this special location…
I first introduced Eatrip a year ago, here on my blog… And here in my Japan Times column…
