The package on the left is notable, and not only for its name — oichiizu, a Japanese mash up of oishi (tasty) and cheese. It's a kind of string cheese made in Hokkaido that's been marinaded in shoyu (soy sauce).
Goes well with sake. Goes well with Beaujolais Nouveau too.
