A repeat visit to the excellent Oltrevino, currently looking a bit less festive now that the displays of seasonal pandoro have just about vanished. But the take-out snacks are as good as ever...
I love their arancini...
and their seared veggies...
And this was amazing: they call it a "tart" — and I'm not sure what the Italian name would be — but it consisted of layers of satsuma-imo yam baked with a rich Tuscan meat ragu, as if it were lasagna. We didn't bother to reheat it; it was great just the way it was, straight out of the package.
And just one more goodie: a little chocolate and pistachio number that was rather wicked...
