To start things off, a couple of very well appreciated bubblies (thanks K & K).
A gorgeous rosé from Marie-Noelle Ledru (bio); and a lovely Vincent Carré (vielle vignes)...
Note the enclosure, made of twine affixed with sealing wax rather than the usual metal wire...
A rather nice claret...
And a couple of tasty Chateauneufs (a mini vertical tasting — nice one R)...
And for our session wine we had a rapacious little Tuscan number — indeed, we got through a number of them...
Plus a few other bits and pieces — from the mulled wine on arrival through to the port at the end. A grand time was had by all.
