It's a bit obvious, but not a bad name for a cafe/bar located right above the platforms.
Rail is in Ebisu station, so no prizes for guessing which brewery operates it...
Sapporo is spotlighting three of its premium Yebisu beers on tap here. There's the standard Yebisu lager; the Creamy Top Stout; and the best of the (admittedly not hugely outstanding) lot — Kohaku. The name [琥珀]literally means "amber" but it's actually a nice golden-coloured dunkel.
Craft beer lovers will not find much to get excited about, but it's a refreshing brew with rather more character than the standard lager. Just the ticket for when I have a few minutes to kill before my train home...
Tying in with this new bar, the brewery has just launched a retail version of this Kohaku beer (up to now it's only been on draft in a few select outlets), which comes in handsome amber-red cans. Worth checking out.

I like the design — the matte burnished vermillion colour and the understated Yebisu logo. The taste is a bit yeast-heavy for my liking, but it still beats the standard (gold can) Yebisu. What's more, a large (500 ml) can fits just perfectly in my favourite Becks glass.
