Who'd have thought it? Yakitori so good that it catches the attention not just of the Food File but also the Michelin inspectors (or should that be the other way round)? Not just one great place but two — and in down-at-heel Gotanda no less.
I dropped a teaser about it last week here. Now the full piece is up in the Japan Times here. And below are some more photos of chef Takahashi, his excellent chicken paté, his classic omelet, and his very tasty 'special cuvée' Cotes du Rhone red which went perfectly with the skewers of premium yakitori. Highly recommended — and so is Yoshicho too!
