We've eaten and drunk and prayed and bought our amulets. Did I miss anything out there? Let's hope we're covered for a year now.
Ozoni. Chez the Food File that entails kan-buri yellowtail, shiitake, young komatsuna greens, golden kyo-ninjin carrot, and murasaki daikon (purple-tinged daikon), in a classic kombu/katsuo dashi with farmhouse miso, garnished with a curl of garden-fresh yuzu peel. Oh yes, and fresh grilled mochi, of course.
